Coming from a Lakeland agricultural background and educated at Kendal Grammar School Philip started his employment in 1972 with Kendal & District Auction Mart as a junior auctioneer and valuer selling livestock, general antique and household furnishings. In 1975 Philip moved from Kendal to Northallerton to work for Northallerton Auctions, where he was employed in a similar role as Auctioneer and Valuer. | |
