| Acadian Roofing was founded by Schacht McCollum and Young Nelson, who have known each other for over 30 years. Young is married to Schacht's sister, Darren, whom he met in High School and are still happily married with two children. Schacht and Young combined their diverse backgrounds and talents in order to provide quality roofing, sheet metal, gutters, and other specialty services. Schacht has over 15 years of experience in the custom home business, while Young has over 25 years of experience in oil and gas equipment design and maintenance.
