| I have been in the cleaning industry for nearly 10 years. I was an account manager (salesman) for a janitorial service company for many years. I was in literally hundreds of businesses all over the Bay Area giving quotes for janitorial service. Which would sometimes include carpet cleaning, strip and waxing floors, tile and grout cleaning and so on. I hated it. The biggest reason was quality control. It was so hard to hold the janitors accountable for the quality of their work. I need to be associated with quality and integrity. This is my personality. This is my nature. When your work doesn't reflect your true nature I believe it creates an internal conflict. Do you know what I'm talking about? Ha! A lot of people do. | |
