Nestled beneath the towering peaks of the Darran Mountains, Milford Sound Lodge provides a stunning base to experience the beauty and majesty of Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound. The Sound is one of New Zealand’s most beautiful and popular places, and our lodge is the only accommodation in the area. Our Premium Riverside Chalets offer luxurious self-contained accommodation with amazing views of the river, rainforest and mountains. Our most popular accommodation option, our Riverside Chalets allow you to relax in a comfortable lounge as you watch the sparkling waters of Cleddau River tumble by outside your window. Or lie in the super king size bed and gaze in awe at the towering peaks rising up above the lush temperate rainforest. Other features include: a fold out sofa bed for children, a fully tiled ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, under-floor heating and heater, a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, and fridge-freezer, a TV with SKY and DVD player, and WiFi. Our Mountain View Chalets offer privacy and comfort in contemporary style accommodation. These self-contained rooms are all about providing a comfortable place to recharge your batteries. Alongside exceptional mountain views, these Chalets also boast: a super king size bed, a fold out sofa bed for children, a fully tiled ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, under-floor heating and heater, a fridge-freezer, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV with SKY and DVD player, and WiFi. Our Rainforest Campervan Park allows those travelling by campervan to park up amidst the beauty of Milford Sound.
